Looking forward to welcoming you to the next ERMSAR conference edition, this time it will be held only in an in-person form. The intention is to foster as much as feasible networking and technical exchanges during sessions, but also during breaks and even social events of the conference. 

Please note that you need to register in advance to secure your spot. Whenever in the venue, please, follow the safety guidelines that may be in place at the time of the conference.

Conference fee information

To submit a communication, we kindly ask you to fill in the forms with your data. First, some personal information will be collected. After submitting this, the form related to abstract submission will appear. After completion, you will receive a notification and be able to access the information provided at any time by the "user area". Abstract submission period has ended.

Once you have registered to access the information provided during registration, you can access your user area through this LINK using the email and password included at the time of registration.
The options chosen in the social activities can be modified after the registration process through the user area.
Through the user area, you can sign up or unsubscribe according to your needs.

Technical visit

A technical visit will be organized for the morning of Friday, 22 May.

  • Technical Visit 1 – Westinghouse/Tecnatom Facilities (San Sebastián de los Reyes, Madrid) 
      
    Participants will have the opportunity to explore Tecnatom’s advanced training and simulation infrastructure. The visit is expected to include access to the Trillo NPP Full-Scope Simulator, depending on its operational schedule, as well as demonstrations of other cutting-edge simulation tools. In particular, attendees may have the chance to see the AP1000 simulator, the first of its kind, and the Severe Accident Simulator currently under development within the ASSAS Project. 
      
    Two groups of 25 participants each will be organized. Transportation by bus from the conference venue to the Westinghouse/Tecnatom facilities will be provided. The visit will last about 3 hours. 

  • Technical Visit 2 – CIEMAT Facilities (Madrid) 
      
    A second technical visit will be organized to the CIEMAT (Centro de Investigaciones Energéticas, Medioambientales y Tecnológicas) facilities. Participants will visit the CIEMAT’s most innovative laboratories, such as the TJ-II stellarator and Liquid Metals Laboratories on the Fusion Department, Corrosion and Material Characterization laboratories (Material Department), and Nuclear Data and Neutron Standards (to be confirmed) laboratories of the Fission Department. 
     
    The meeting point will be at the CIEMAT headquarters (Av. Complutense 40, Madrid). Several groups will be organized for a fruitful visit of 2.5-3 hours. The number of attendees is limited to 50.
